"Good Morning" I said as we walked into the classroom at daycare. Evan ran over to Maddie and gave her a hug. And then off he ran back to Sponge painting with everyone else.
Now the funny thing is that Maddie will push you away if she doesn't want a hug. There was no push, we did not let go of Mom's hand, we just accepted the hug. I guess it is better to act like you like it - but not too much. Maybe it's the reason she gets them coming back for more? I don't think I ever learned that.
So as I said goodbye and gave her a kiss, I laughed knowing she will be happy today at school with a hug from a boy already and it wasn't 8:00 am yet.
